From September 17th to 22nd, a Festival of OFF Theatre and of Performing Arts.
The 3rd edition of the Milano Off, after the first edition dedicated to the Isola district within Milan and the second edition F.I.L. Festival distributed throughout the municipalities of Milan, enricches itself even further by entering the World Fringe Community, and continues to boast a precious partnership with Festival Avignon Le OFF in France.This year is dedicated to the celebration of 50 years from the landing and I like to imagine that in the next 50 years it will be the artists, the wise and the philosophers who will go into space. The MI OFF is dedicated to all dreamers, "lunatic" visionaries who travel the ether with the art of fantasy, crossing realities without barriers (OFF) and giving substance to utopias. Artists outside the walls of the centers of power (FRINGE), who too often block their wings of free thinkers and who should be granted the benefit of incoherence, which generates vital renewal and art. This MI OFF brings with it the hope of soon seeing a market of performing arts in the world where everyone can express themselves with their own language and, helped by technology, can bring their work anywhere in the world without limits. In Italy every profession is a art, but art itself is a hard job ... Too many artists today in Italy live the hardship of survival. Then imagine a prototype drawn on a spatial utopia: that of moving to the moon, to create a society in which the economic and social model is based on art and the only economic parameter is the F.I.L. (Gross Internal Happiness): where we will have the artist's income, but also of all the organizational and technical professional figures related to art, on the model of French intermittance. A full moon of theatrical spaces and concert halls where (trans) bringing the audience with shuttles, zero space and time.
